In late 2021, our systems were compromised while using a third-party control panel (formerly Zessel Control Panel, now AA Panel). Attackers gained access through a Gmail account and issued ransom demands. Although we immediately changed credentials and logged out all sessions, we later discovered reports that several websites had been targeted using that email address. To protect our clients and reputation, we permanently closed the compromised account.

We understand this incident may have impacted trust, and we take full responsibility for addressing it. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was affected by this breach. We are actively pursuing legal action against those responsible.

Let us be clear: Steele Web Services does not engage in hacking, unauthorized access, or any unethical practices—regardless of differences in opinion with any party. We maintain the highest professional standards in everything we do.

Following this incident, we destroyed all compromised equipment and have since purchased entirely new hardware. We designed and built a new, custom control panel and billing system from the ground up with security as a top priority.
